A multi-functional unit for demanding workplaces, the Color All-in-One 179fnw Laser Printer from HP offers printing, scanning, copying, and faxing functions to fulfill your imaging needs. Featuring a print resolution of 600 x 600 dpi for bold blacks and crisp color graphics, the unit has a color print speed of 4 ppm and black print speed of 19 ppm. A 150-sheet input tray accepts media ranging in size from 3 x 5.85" to 8.5 x 14", while the printer's automatic document feeder (ADF) accepts media from 5.7 x 5.7" to 8.5 x 14". For scanning, the 179fnw is equipped with an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed scanner, which allows scans up to 8.5 x 14" when using the ADF. Black copy speeds are a fast 18 cpm and color copy speeds are 4 cpm. Additionally, the printer can make up to 999 copies at a time.
The 179fnw connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and Ethernet for standard printing, or you can use its built-in Wi-Fi functionality for wireless direct printing. It allows you to easily send jobs from your mobile phone via HP Smart, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Mopria.
